Somers Open Gardens Returns This Year with Special Guest Stephanie Alexander and Live Music in the Community Garden

On Sunday 9 November, Somers will once again open its gates for a day that celebrates gardens, creativity, and community spirit. The event will invite visitors to explore beautiful private gardens and share in a day filled with inspiration and connection.

This year brings even more reasons to take part. Beloved chef and author Stephanie Alexander will be appearing as a special guest, presented by Westernport Writes, with a talk and book signings. Local singer-songwriter Anna Smyrk will also perform in the Community Garden, creating the perfect atmosphere for an afternoon picnic.

Every ticket sold will directly support the Coolart Community Garden, helping it grow and continue its work in providing fresh produce and a place of belonging for the community.
